When a natural disaster hits – we all know within minutes. If a brutal crime goes unsolved – the whole world waits in anxious expectation. We are interested, consumed, and connected with the happenings of our world.

Imagine if you saw headlines that said “Popular Leader Arrested Overnight” or “3 Executed In Suburbs” or “Leader of Movement Brutally Murdered” or even more engaging “Executed Leader’s Body Missing”.

These headlines would certainly catch your attention and they are a stark reminder of the radical, life altering, sacrifice of Jesus.

The Bible says the Gospel is the “power of God”. We hear it so often that we minimize the enormity of that day and the radical nature of His death and resurrection. I think that the best gospel presentation can be a simple recounting of the cross as described in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

The Gospel is more exciting than the New York Times or evening news. Get people to think about Jesus, His life, His sacrifice and His death. Boldly communicate the most newsworthy event in all of history.

“I think that the best gospel presentation can be a simple recounting of the cross as described in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.”

Romans 1:16

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…”
