Every morning,
I love to spend time praying and claiming God’s promises from His own Word. Here are half a dozen promises that have been especially meaningful to me. I encourage you to make them a part of your own life.
First, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, `Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you,” Matthew 17:20.
The second promise says, “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart,” Psalm 37:4. That’s one of my favorites.
Third, “If our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from Him anything we ask, because we obey His commands and do what pleases Him,” 1 John 3:21-22.
Fourth, “If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you,” John 15:7. Boy! I love that one.
The fifth promise says, “The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore,” Psalm 121:7-8.
Last but not least, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe,” Proverbs 18:10.
What is the need of your heart today? The Lord has promised to meet that need. Take Him at His Word and rejoice in His promises.
