Do you struggle to believe this about God? That God is defined by favor toward you? That He is leaning toward you instead of away from you? That His way is unchanging and unimpacted by your behavior? 

Your affection towards Him does not impact His affection towards you. I’m going to say that again. YOUR AFFECTION TOWARD HIM DOES NOT IMPACT HIS AFFECTION TOWARD YOU.

Believe this today. Ask Him to reveal His mercy to you and accept His offer of life.

“Your affection towards Him does not impact His affection towards you.”

Ephesians 2:4-5

“But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)”
