WHAT IS SIN?

Ο καλύτερος τρόπος ορισμού

Ο καλύτερος τρόπος για να ορίσετε την αμαρτία είναι να τη συγκρίνετε με κάτι πολύ πιο οικείο – τους ιούς. Οι περισσότεροι από εμάς έχουμε βιώσει κρυολόγημα ή γρίπη. Και οι δύο είναι αρκετά ασήμαντες, αλλά οι ιοί έχουν προκαλέσει μεγάλης κλίμακας εστίες σε όλη την ιστορία. Τα παραδείγματα αυτά τα έχουμε δει ακόμη και πρόσφατα.

  • Ιός ανθρώπινης ανοσοανεπάρκειας (HIV) το 1981.
  • Γρίπη των χοίρων (H1N1) το 2009.
  • COVID-19 το 2019.

Κάθε ένα από αυτά τα κρούσματα προκάλεσε ασθένειες και θάνατο σε πολλές ηπείρους και ομάδες ανθρώπων. Η αμαρτία είναι παρόμοια στο ότι μπορείτε επίσης να υποδείξετε προηγούμενα ξεσπάσματα. Το πρώτο συνέβη αμέσως μετά  τη δημιουργία της γης . Όταν ο Θεός τελείωσε τη δημιουργία του κόσμου, είπε ότι ήταν « πολύ καλός ». Δεν υπήρχε  βάσανο , προβλήματα ή  κακό .

Αυτό ίσχυε μέχρι που ο πρώτος άνδρας (Αδάμ) και η γυναίκα (Εύα) δεν υπάκουσαν τον Θεό. Εκείνη τη στιγμή, η αμαρτία έφτασε και πυροδότησε μια πανδημία αμαρτίας. Η Αγία Γραφή λέει: «Όταν ο Αδάμ αμάρτησε, η αμαρτία μπήκε στον κόσμο. Η αμαρτία του Αδάμ έφερε θάνατο, έτσι ο θάνατος εξαπλώθηκε σε όλους, γιατί όλοι αμάρτησαν» (Ρωμαίους 5:12). Αυτό το ξέσπασμα της αμαρτίας συνεχίζεται σήμερα και είναι η πιο σοβαρή πρόκληση που αντιμετωπίζουμε.

Ένας ιός μολύνει ένα άτομο με ένεση μερών του εαυτού του στα καλά μας κύτταρα. Στη συνέχεια, ο ιός επαναπρογραμματίζει αυτά τα κύτταρα για να παράγουν περισσότερο τον ιό. Η αμαρτία είναι ένας πνευματικός ιός που μολύνει κάθε μέρος της ζωής μας. Μόλις πιάσει βάση, αρχίζει να μεγαλώνει. Η αμαρτία μπορεί να μας επηρεάσει σωματικά, αλλά μας κάνει πνευματικά και ηθικά αδύναμους. Αν αφεθεί ανεξέλεγκτη, θα εισβάλει στα συναισθήματα, τη συνείδησή σας, τις επιθυμίες και κάθε άλλο μέρος σας. Η Αγία Γραφή προσθέτει: «Και όταν αφήνεται η αμαρτία να μεγαλώσει, γεννά θάνατο» (Ιακώβου 1:15).

Είναι δυνατό να νικήσουμε την αμαρτία, αλλά δεν μπορούμε να το κάνουμε μόνοι μας. Χρειαζόμαστε τη βοήθεια του Θεού. «Αλλά υπάρχει μεγάλη διαφορά μεταξύ της αμαρτίας του Αδάμ και του ευγενικού δώρου του Θεού. Διότι η αμαρτία αυτού του ενός ανθρώπου, του Αδάμ, έφερε θάνατο σε πολλούς. Αλλά ακόμη μεγαλύτερη είναι η υπέροχη χάρη του Θεού και το δώρο του της συγχώρεσης σε πολλούς μέσω αυτού του άλλου ανθρώπου, του Ιησού Χριστού» (Ρωμαίους 5:15).

Πώς λοιπόν προστατεύουμε τον εαυτό μας; Πώς είναι ο Ιησούς η λύση στο πρόβλημα της αμαρτίας μας; Η Αγία Γραφή το εξηγεί ως: «Διότι ο Θεός έκανε τον Χριστό,  που δεν αμάρτησε ποτέ , ως προσφορά για την αμαρτία μας, για να μπορέσουμε να διορθωθούμε με τον Θεό μέσω του Χριστού» (Β΄ Κορινθίους 5:21). Η θυσία του Ιησού «μας καθαρίζει από κάθε αμαρτία» (1 Ιωάννη 1:7) που σημαίνει «δεν είμαστε πια σκλάβοι της αμαρτίας» (Ρωμαίους 6:6) και μας επιτρέπει να εισέλθουμε στον παράδεισο.

Θα θέλατε να δεχτείτε τον Ιησού ως Σωτήρα σας και να διορθώσετε το πρόβλημα της αμαρτίας σας σήμερα;

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13 Note: Today people don’t even have time to go to heaven. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will receive forgiveness of sins, salvation and eternal life.
