WHAT IS TRUTH?

Η αλήθεια είναι μια έννοια που έχει συζητηθεί εδώ και αιώνες,

και δεν αποτελεί έκπληξη το γεγονός ότι στον σημερινό κόσμο, συχνά βρισκόμαστε σε σύγχυση σχετικά με το τι είναι πραγματικά η αλήθεια. Υπάρχουν τόσες πολλές διαφορετικές ιδέες για το τι είναι αλήθεια και τι όχι, και μπορεί να είναι δύσκολο να γνωρίζουμε τι να πιστέψουμε. Ο ηθικός σχετικισμός είναι μια κοινή ιδέα που διαχέεται, η οποία λέει ότι αυτό που είναι αληθινό για ένα άτομο μπορεί να μην ισχύει για ένα άλλο. Αυτό μπορεί να το κάνει να φαίνεται ότι δεν υπάρχει αλήθεια που να ισχύει για όλους, κάτι που μπορεί να είναι αρκετά ανησυχητικό.

Τι είναι λοιπόν η αλήθεια, αλήθεια;

Η Βίβλος ρίχνει λίγο φως στο ερώτημα. Όταν ο Ιησούς μιλούσε στους πιστούς Του, περιέγραψε γιατί η αλήθεια είναι σημαντική λόγω του τι μπορεί να κάνει για εμάς. Είπε: «Και θα γνωρίσετε την αλήθεια, και  η αλήθεια θα σας ελευθερώσει » (Ιωάννης 8:32). Όταν γνωρίζουμε την αλήθεια, είμαστε απαλλαγμένοι από σύγχυση,  ανησυχία  και φόβο. Είμαστε ελεύθεροι να  ζούμε τη ζωή μας με σκοπό και νόημα , γνωρίζοντας ότι ακολουθούμε το μονοπάτι που έχει θέσει μπροστά μας ο Θεός.

Αλλά πού είναι το μονοπάτι;

Ο Ιησούς είπε: « Εγώ είμαι η οδός , η αλήθεια και η ζωή. Κανείς δεν μπορεί να έρθει στον Πατέρα παρά μόνο μέσω εμού» (Ιωάννης 14:6). Ο Ιησούς δεν είναι απλώς ένα από τα πολλά μονοπάτια προς την αλήθεια. Είναι ο μόνος τρόπος  για να βρει κανείς πραγματική, διαρκή αλήθεια. Αυτό σημαίνει ότι όταν εμπιστευόμαστε τον Ιησού, μπορούμε να γνωρίζουμε με βεβαιότητα ότι βρισκόμαστε στο σωστό δρόμο και μπορούμε να είμαστε σίγουροι για αυτό που πιστεύουμε.

Πώς μπορώ να ξέρω ότι αυτό είναι αλήθεια;

Η Βίβλος περιγράφει αυτό που λέει ο Θεός ως εξής: «Η ίδια η ουσία των λόγων σου είναι η αλήθεια. όλες οι δίκαιες ρυθμίσεις σου θα μείνουν για πάντα» (Ψαλμός 119:160). Αυτό ενισχύει την ιδέα ότι η αλήθεια δεν είναι κάτι που αλλάζει με το χρόνο ή τις αξίες της κοινωνίας, αλλά είναι κάτι που είναι για πάντα και αμετάβλητο. Η αλήθεια που βρίσκεται στο Λόγο του Θεού είναι κάτι στο οποίο μπορούμε να βασιστούμε και να εμπιστευτούμε. Ό,τι είναι αλήθεια στη Βίβλο ισχύει και στην πραγματικότητα.

Πολλοί άνθρωποι στην κοινωνία προσπαθούν να θάψουν αυτό που ξέρουν ότι είναι σωστό, επομένως είναι σημαντικό να κρατάμε σταθερά την αλήθεια που βρίσκεται στον Ιησού Χριστό. Πηγαίνετε να το αναζητήσετε με ανοιχτή καρδιά και μυαλό.

So be it! Amen! Revelation 1:7 And he was clothed in blood; And his name is called ‘Word of God’. Revelation 19:13 “And behold, I come quickly; And I have my reward to give to every man according to his work. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13 Note: Today people don’t even have time to go to heaven. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will receive forgiveness of sins, salvation and eternal life.
