WHAT DOES GOD LOOK LIKE?

Οι άνθρωποι έχουν διαφορετικές ιδέες

για το πώς μοιάζει ο Θεός και πολλές από αυτές τις εικόνες προέρχονται από τη λαϊκή κουλτούρα. Οι ιστορίες της κρίσης απεικονίζουν τον Θεό ως σκληρό δικαστή του δικαστηρίου που φορά μαύρο ρόμπα. Άλλοι δείχνουν τον Θεό ως μια στοργική φιγούρα τύπου παππού με λευκή γενειάδα και ευγενική έκφραση. Όταν η κοινωνία μιλά για τις συνέπειες του σωστού και του λάθους, ο Θεός απεικονίζεται ως αστυνομικός που πιάνει κάποιον στα πράσα.

Ο λόγος που υπάρχουν τόσες πολλές περιγραφές του Θεού είναι επειδή οι άνθρωποι δεν ξέρουν πώς πραγματικά μοιάζει. Χρησιμοποιούμε τη φαντασία μας για να συμπληρώσουμε τα κενά.

«Δείξε μου μια εικόνα του Θεού»

Μαθαίνουμε από τη Βίβλο ότι ο Θεός δεν είναι σαν εμάς. Αποτελούμαστε από δέρμα και οστά. Δεν περιέχεται από υλικό σώμα. Ο Θεός είναι ένα πνευματικό ον, επομένως δεν μπορούμε να Τον δούμε, όπως δεν μπορούμε να δούμε τον άνεμο. Αντίθετα, παρατηρούμε την επίδρασή του στα δέντρα και το νερό. Με τον ίδιο τρόπο, μπορούμε να δούμε τι κάνει ο Θεός στη ζωή μας και γύρω μας, αλλά ακριβώς όπως λέει η Αγία Γραφή, «Κανείς δεν έχει δει ποτέ τον Θεό» (1 Ιωάννη 4:12). Ο Θεός δεν περιορίζεται από τη δημιουργία Του, ωστόσο είναι πιο κοντά μας από την επόμενη αναπνοή μας.

Η Βίβλος περιγράφει μερικές περιπτώσεις όπου ο Θεός εμφανίστηκε στους ανθρώπους με ανθρώπινη μορφή. Δυστυχώς, αυτά τα γεγονότα δεν μας δίνουν μια πραγματική εικόνα του Θεού επειδή άλλαξε την εμφάνισή Του σε κάτι που μπορούσαμε να καταλάβουμε. Είμαστε περιορισμένοι στην ικανότητά μας να κατανοήσουμε έναν Θεό που πάντα υπήρχε και πάντα θα υπάρχει. «Πριν γεννηθούν τα βουνά, πριν γεννήσεις τη γη και τον κόσμο, από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος, εσύ είσαι ο Θεός» (Ψαλμός 90:2).

«Πώς είναι ο Θεός;»

Ωστόσο, η Βίβλος λέει ότι μπορούμε να γνωρίζουμε πώς είναι ο Θεός και αυτό συμβαίνει επειδή κατέβηκε  από τον ουρανό . Έγινε άντρας και το όνομά Του ήταν Ιησούς Χριστός. Μπορεί να είναι δύσκολο να το καταλάβουμε, αλλά ήταν και πλήρως άνθρωπος και πλήρως Θεός.

Αν θέλετε να μάθετε πώς είναι ο Θεός, τότε δείτε τη  μοναδική ζωή του Ιησού  στη Βίβλο. Λέει ότι μπορούμε να γνωρίσουμε τον Θεό μέσω του Ιησού, «Κανείς δεν έχει δει ποτέ τον Θεό. Αλλά ο μοναδικός, που είναι ο ίδιος Θεός, είναι κοντά στην καρδιά του Πατέρα. Αυτός μας αποκάλυψε τον Θεό» (Ιωάννης 1:18).

Ποιο είναι λοιπόν το πιο σημαντικό πράγμα που λέει η Βίβλος για τον Θεό; Μας λέει ξανά και ξανά ότι μας αγαπά και θέλει να έχει προσωπική σχέση με τον καθένα μας. Η Αγία Γραφή λέει: «Δείτε πόσο πολύ μας αγαπά ο Πατέρας μας, γιατί μας αποκαλεί παιδιά Του, και αυτό είμαστε!» (1 Ιωάννη 3:1).

Είστε έτοιμοι να έχετε προσωπική σχέση με τον ουράνιο πατέρα σας;

So be it! Amen! Revelation 1:7 And he was clothed in blood; And his name is called ‘Word of God’. Revelation 19:13 “And behold, I come quickly; And I have my reward to give to every man according to his work. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13 Note: Today people don’t even have time to go to heaven. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will receive forgiveness of sins, salvation and eternal life.
