WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE BORN AGAIN?

Πώς μπορείς να «γεννηθείς ξανά»

αν ζεις ήδη; Τι σημαίνει η αναγέννηση; Τι συμβαίνει όταν ξαναγεννηθείς;

Το να γεννηθείς ξανά δεν σημαίνει φυσική αναγέννηση. είναι πνευματικό. Αναφέρεται σε μια αλλαγή καρδιάς—από την αδιαφορία ή την εχθρότητα προς τον Θεό μέχρι την αγάπη γι’ Αυτόν και την επιθυμία να ζήσουμε το καλύτερό Του για εμάς.

Πώς γίνεται όμως;

Πρώτα, πρέπει να κατανοήσουμε την τρέχουσα ανθρώπινη κατάστασή μας. Υπάρχει ένα πρόβλημα που αντιμετωπίζουμε όλοι και ο Ιησούς είπε ότι ξεκινά από τις καρδιές μας. Το πρόβλημα είναι κάτι που ονομάζεται αμαρτία, που σημαίνει να χάνουμε το σημάδι—να αποτύχουμε να κάνουμε αυτό που πρέπει να κάνουμε.

Είτε το συνειδητοποιούμε είτε όχι, προσπαθούμε να διορθώσουμε αυτό το πρόβλημα μόνοι μας – για να το αντισταθμίσουμε ή να το απωθήσουμε από το μυαλό μας, ωστόσο υπάρχει ακόμα κάτι που λείπει βαθιά μέσα μας. Τίποτα δεν θα μας ικανοποιήσει πλήρως αν δεν έχουμε τον Ιησού στη ζωή μας και την αιώνια  ελπίδα  να είμαστε μαζί Του για πάντα στον ουρανό.

Υπάρχει μια ιστορία στη Βίβλο για έναν άνδρα που ονομάζεται Νικόδημος. Ήταν θρησκευτικός ηγέτης και καλός άνθρωπος, και ένα βράδυ ενώ μιλούσε στον Ιησού, ο Νικόδημος Τον ρώτησε τι έπρεπε να κάνει για να πάει στον παράδεισο. Ο Ιησούς είπε στον Νικόδημο: «Πρέπει να αναγεννηθείς» ( Ιωάννης 3 :7). Στην πραγματικότητα, ο Ιησούς είπε: «Αν κάποιος δεν αναγεννηθεί, δεν μπορεί να δει τη βασιλεία του Θεού» (Ιωάννης 3:3).

Ο Ιησούς έλεγε στον Νικόδημο ότι ό,τι καλό κι αν έκανε εξωτερικά, χρειαζόταν να αλλάξει μέσα του. Αυτό μπορεί να συμβεί μόνο μέσω μιας υπερφυσικής πράξης του Θεού όταν το Άγιο Πνεύμα Του μας καταδικάσει για αδικήματα και φέρει νέα ζωή στις ίδιες τις ψυχές μας.

Πώς μπορούμε λοιπόν να ξαναγεννηθούμε;

Πρώτον, πρέπει να παραδεχτούμε την αμαρτία μας—ότι δεν μπορούμε να ζήσουμε μόνοι μας σύμφωνα με το τέλειο πρότυπο του Θεού. Τότε πρέπει να ζητήσουμε συγχώρεση για αυτήν την αμαρτία και να μετανοήσουμε, που σημαίνει να καταβάλουμε κάθε προσπάθεια για να απομακρυνθούμε από αυτήν την αμαρτία. Τέλος, ζητάμε από τον Ιησού να είναι μέρος της ζωής μας.

Τότε είναι που το Πνεύμα του Θεού διεισδύει στις καρδιές μας για να μας καθοδηγήσει και να μας βοηθήσει να γίνουμε περισσότερο σαν Αυτόν. Τότε είναι που ξαναγεννιόμαστε.

Ο ίδιος ο Θεός το θέτει ως εξής: «Θα σου δώσω μια νέα καρδιά και θα βάλω ένα νέο πνεύμα μέσα σου» (Ιεζεκιήλ 36:26). Από εκεί και πέρα, μας δίνει έναν νέο σκοπό και νέους στόχους για τη ζωή. Δεν ζούμε πλέον για τον εαυτό μας αλλά για Εκείνον (Β Κορινθίους 5:15).

Σήμερα, μπορείτε να βιώσετε την πνευματική αναγέννηση. μπορείς να ξαναγεννηθείς.

I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.” Revelation 22:12-13 Note: Today people don’t even have time to go to heaven. Believe in Jesus Christ and you will receive forgiveness of sins, salvation and eternal life.
