Welcome to today’s devotion.
Behold the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 3:15-18
-
There is one thing within the believer that can prevent him from experiencing the life of Christ, and that is his own human nature. Personal problems and conflicts between believers are always the result of living with the veil above the heart. But Christ wants us to turn from who we are by nature, and to respond to who He is within us, so that He may remove the influence of past conditions and human reactions. He wants to free us from old hurts, feelings of anger, fears, and bitterness, empowering us to pat the other cheek and walk another mile in the walk of peace. With an “open face,” in full acceptance of your need, let us reveal God’s glory by faith – the grace of Christ’s finished work. As you look into the mirror of God’s Word. Attach your name to the person of Christ, identify Him who died on that cross. See your old self dead and buried, then see how Christ rises to circulate His same life within your heart. See the glorious picture of Christ within you. By allowing that image to change on the outside, as it reflects all that He is, on the inside. Be freed from your old self-image. Be set free by the Holy Spirit to reflect the new life you have received. Satan wants to put something else before our face other than the glory of God. It could be a level, a problem or a fear; But as we turn to the Lord by faith; The veil must fall away, and the cloud of God’s own life will cover our hearts with divine protection. You can definitely see your expertise in the paintings you write. The sector hopes for more passionate writers such as you who are not afraid to mention how they believe. All the time go after your heart. “Man is the measure of all things.” by Protagoras.
