Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
His eyes are upon you.
Acts 3:1-4
Peter fixed his eyes on a lame man standing by the door called Beautiful. Anyone who is with Jesus Christ will fix their eyes on the one who needs something, so that they can find God’s heart in their situation. They never live for the needs of people. True believers with Jesus Christ care and their hearts are trained to compassion. They are met by grace and they exercise their faculties to know God’s love.
The Christian faith can be very mechanistic and very regimented. As you mature in Christ, don’t take everyday things for granted, but take every moment as a moment to live. Take the moments sacredly and lovingly and fix your eyes on whatever is happening in your life. When you go to the temple, don’t just walk around empty and don’t just beg a lame person. Aim to show the power of God in people’s needs, the faith that changes their destinies, and the love that God spreads.
See as Jesus saw. Jesus never left just like that, but He stopped and saw them. Even as the crowd thronged Him, Jesus stopped to answer the cry of the blind beggar, who had always been considered useless. Do not think that Jesus Christ did not care about your illness until He spread life. Don’t think that he takes your disability for granted. He doesn’t do that. He loves, He listens, and He spreads life. His eyes are fixed on you.
