Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Do you want to stay?
Romans 8:32
Jesus Christ never withheld any special favors from His Father. We have been taught many times to keep the rest. People don’t want to be tested. They want to be left out of the results. They don’t want to go through the cross with holes, but they want to be saved and still be good people. Jesus will not hold anything back for us in any area of our lives.
If the Father did not leave his only Son, how will we ever be left? God refuses to leave us alone, because he wants to put us in a position where we must learn something: that is obedience to him through faith in the word of God through the cross. How will we ever know Christ, if we do not associate with Him in His presence? How can we have His resources, if we are not placed in a place where ours is not exhausted? Jesus had to learn humility; Although he was perfect, considering his humanity, he was even more responsible because he was a free-willed person. He was repeatedly challenged to exercise free will for his humanity. God placed one situation after another, so that He would exercise His will and His humanity would obey. God allowed him to suffer in order to see the progress of his obedience.
At the same time that God allows us to suffer, we enter into fellowship with our humanity, and in the flesh we rebel against God. But the decision is also placed with God, so that we are not left out of learning obedience.
