Be Responsive
Psalm 1:1-4
- Every person who is filled with a capacity for life desires a response. This response is part of the legislation of the proposal. Again, many people exhibit an inability to respond immediately. It is the result of the state of emotions. Over the years, we’ve learned how and when to respond at school and at home. Many times our reactions were not unpleasant, but it did not please the persons in positions of authority above us. Levels were set, and what measures were given for what responses, we learned carefully. The reaction became technically produced. People became ignorant and insensitive. Now, not only do the responses fail, but these people end up repeatedly resorting to criminal acts to produce an effect.
God has a beautiful plan to allow us to experience an immediate response. He does not impose rules of response like those who follow religion. He teaches us how to respond to Him, not what He has done, or what He has done. I don’t have to wait for God to produce even one thing. The secret to continued victory is to respond with faith, even if our feelings do not dictate the response. Faith allows us to respond even when we do not understand the suffering of His plan. It pleases and honors God. This is one way to get the vote of confidence for him.
Do you respond to people you love because of who they are or what they have done? You can be the effect of God’s love today.
