Faith is not for release
Hebrews 11:13
Why do you want to succeed? What if God used one thing to make you know Him and then let it fail? He causes it to fail, so that we can experience resurrection. We do not understand how to be happy, but we are happy. We have no regrets, only peace. God uses failure to draw us closer to Him. God is not there to make things right for us. Maybe He blesses us outwardly and then if it doesn’t make us spiritual then He will crush us to get what He wants and know that it is life for us.
You look at a situation. That God has blessed? That is not a question that should be asked. The real question is this: Is God continuing to bless you regardless of what you have done?
In the 11th chapter of Hebrews, some had to endure persecution, suffering and trials, without achieving the promise, while some had achieved it. Who got the blessing? Those who never received the promise but endured by faith were as spiritual as those who received the promise, and produced effects and their ministry was the outward result. Some did not receive the answer that revealed the blessing but were blessed inwardly by believing in the living God. The congregation prayed and Peter was released from prison. But Yakub’s head was cut off. Who was more spiritual? Cutting off Jacob’s head does not make Peter very spiritual. It takes just as much faith to not be delivered as it does to believe and be free.
