Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
A heart that spoke
1 Peter 1:18-19
A lamb went to the cross, prayed in the garden, met Judas, was betrayed with a kiss, and presented before Pilate. The heart of the Lamb was nailed to the cross. If He had not already died for us, He could not be there. His physical body was given to the physical people who lived in this physical world. If He had not taken away our sins in eternity past, His love could not have constrained us. No one can stop the heart of the Lamb to say, “Father, forgive them.” He had a heart that took our transgressions and remained only to show eternal love. Because it was a lamb, he removed the lamb. That could separate us from His plan of love.
When the slain lamb passed away, he rose again as a king. All the powers of hell are in their kingdom. They saw an empty tomb. They were now facing the slain lamb. Satan could challenge God until he was literally dead, but now the love of the slain lamb is revealed. Our sins are washed away, and the Holy Spirit can now be sent to prove. Man no longer needs to submit to the view of glory from the atmosphere, because Christ is our justification, (Romans 3:28, 5:18). Satan wants them to fear death, but Christ conquered death and brought us to life. Satan can no longer have that plan because we have discovered the heart of the Eternal Lamb.
