Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Horrible, yet beautiful,
Song of song 6
- We are called to a life of love, to live in the Holy of Holies where all things are holy. It is a place where God sits with His saints on a resting throne. The only question is love, and that love is between the bride and her Lord. All power and manifestation of Christ’s light in the world resides in fellowship. The Lord sees the bride in this place as a flawless beauty.
- With perfect spiritual detail the Lord explains to the bride, where He observes her closely in His company. To him, she is as beautiful as Tirzah, the abode of the king. She is as beautiful as Jerusalem, which is the center of all activities. She is as terrible as an army with flags, which means she is of two kinds. To the Lord, she is as beautiful as the place where the king always resides, filled with nothing but precious things. She is the center of all his activities as all his love, desire and devotion are towards her. However, she is as powerful as an army with flags. She is beautiful before the Lord, because she is without a body within the veil before God, and terrible to the spiritual enemies in the atmosphere, because they cannot shake or move her from condemnation, punishment and sin. The weapons of war are not necessary for them. His victory flag proclaims unconditional love, the only question is victory accomplished.
