Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
If the choice had come…
Matthew 19:26
- Satan’s attacks will come at a rapid pace in the coming days. People are pressured to reveal Christ, or to an agreement, that has not been through the cross. Some people will face the situation over and over, until they return to the easy way by choice! They don’t stand firm like the three Hebrew boys did. According to the vision, the boys would have faced death, but by faith they had the opportunity to proclaim Christ. . Their witness overcame the enemy and God’s provision overcame the situation. Their personalities did not give authority over their words. Their emotions did not rule their minds. Their fear did not paralyze their abilities. They lived an eternal life, which cannot be consumed.
How many want to be cast into death, not life but to take the popular path of substitution, peace but not understanding, superficial impressions, and natural redemption for natural feelings? How many people run away from a personal cross and begin to interpret the cross according to their own personal desires? How many want a prison at midnight, a lion’s den, and the island of Patmos? If we had to choose the situation would we; who? Where? when? We used to choose that?
Would we choose what would be best for human life to live, instead of choosing death, so that resurrection may reign? Grace will give us the choices to move forward in obedience, so that we can be letters of grace in our decisions!
