Imagination Against Faith (2 Corinthians 10:1-6)
- Do not let your thoughts rise above what God has said in His Word. Satan always wants to attack the possibilities God has given you. He sees the inabilities in man, exalts them, and presents them as seeds of faith. Looking at it this way, the scale may seem too big, but since it is an inheritance, everything is in your position.
Satan says, you cannot do this with God, your weakness is too great. That is an imagination contrary to faith, a thought that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, which is that through Christ you can do all things (Philippians 4:13). I receive Christ’s power even in the midst of my weakness to reveal one kingdom, one God, one riches.
Do not allow yourself to get angry against God’s forgiveness of other people. Replace that thinking with the thinking of unconditional love. Throw away everything that exalts itself against love, because in love you obey God’s thoughts. Be disciplined in God’s thoughts. If I don’t throw away logic and lofty things, I’m living with wrong thoughts. Those thoughts will destroy my ability to think. Will leave the fields of my feelings open.
The land of your mind has been controlled by rebellious thoughts towards the will of the master. But after the Son’s death, destroying man’s life force, the earth will produce fruit according to God’s thoughts. (Matthew 21:33-43 | Mark 12:1-10)
