Kingdom of Christ – Everlasting Kingdom
- Lord Jesus is Everlasting – Christ is “Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending”. The fact that God is everlasting is hard to comprehend, since we are mortal and finite human beings, who are confined to time and space in our earthly bodies. As such, we cannot fully comprehend an infinite Supreme Being. God is a Being Who spoke and created the universe, and He created you and me. He is a Being Who is outside of time and space because those things are part of His creation; and He is infinite in His knowledge, power and presence. The word “being” denotes existence. When God told Moses that His name is “I AM” (which is related to “Jehovah”), He indicated that He is the only “Being” that exists “from everlasting [past] to everlasting [future]”. A human “being” only exists from conception to eternity future. In order to even attempt such a study as this, we need to open the only reliable source of information about God – His Word, the Bible.

- God’s Everlasting Reign – In this beautiful verse in Psa 45, God the Father is declaring to God the Son, that the Son is Eternal God and his throne is established for ever and ever. God’s rule spans all of human history on this earth from Creation to Judgment Day.

God’s righteousness has everything to do with His salvation program pertaining to the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ. God’s righteousness is always related to eternal life. Isa 51 announces this wonderful promise: 1 Tim 6 announces that this invisible God – the Creator – is unapproachable without the Lord Jesus. Have you been clothed with the everlasting righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ – the only Savior for sinners?
Isa 51:6 “Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.”

Mat 25:41 “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.”
2 The 1:8-9 “In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.”
- God’s Word is Everlasting – The Word of God, the Bible, is living and everlasting. This Word is pictured as an “incorruptible seed” because it produces a plant that can never die. God gives true believers eternal life in their souls through His Word, even though they were once spiritually dead. Thus, we can see how the Bible is living and makes alive dead souls.
