Humans sin (man’s sin) In the Bible, the apostle Paul wrote to the Romans in the 3rd chapter, verse 23, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” which means that all have sinned. Some people think that I have never sinned, that I am pure. According to the scriptures this is impossible. In the first book written by John 1:10, it is like this, “If we say that we have not sinned, we make him, the Lord Jesus, a liar, and his word is not in us.” Beloved! We are by birth: sinners. Some of us are pious, fasting and praying, no drinking, no gambling. No smoking, no watching movies, Outwardly we are not doing anything wrong so we are pure and pious. Everyone else is thinking that they are sinners in our eyes. But the Lord Jesus said to the disciples about the Pharisees in the gospel of Matthew, “Whatever goes into the mouth goes into the stomach and is released outside, but what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart. These things defile man. Malice, false testimony, envy, these come from the heart.” Still some wise people, 1 John 4:8 God is love and he who does not love does not know God. According to “God is love” or in Romans 3:10 “There is no one righteous” they think we are not sinners. John the Baptist wrote in his book 1:8,9 “If we say that we are without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. He is faithful if we confess our sins.
We need not fear that sin will exclude us from His kingdom, but He will forgive our sins and sanctify us and cleanse us through His blood. What is sin? God’s scriptures tell us that transgression is sin, sin is not listening to God, sin is doing what God does not want. If we cannot grow or live equal to God’s perfection, if we have no strong hope of attaining such perfection, we must understand it as sin. We read that I am still in relation to sin and we cannot get the glory that God gives us because we have sinned. And do we not know that even if our body cannot clothe itself with that glory, we cannot attain the state of sinlessness? As the saying goes, the gentle is the king of the land of the blind. Isn’t it ironic that I, who am slow to see the blind people in the world and the community, have perfect eyes? In Zechariah chapter 3 the high priest was clothed in linen robes and a linen hat before God.What is Satan’s complaint? He says that his clothes are “milavi”. Although the righteousness we claim is translated as filthy rags, the original language means “filthy garments.” The high priest goes to the most holy place with great care. Complaints against him are that the clothes are not digestible but not soft. And where is this mile from? Mila is the cursed sweat (sweat) that pours from his body. It means that he is sinful and produces sweat (cursed substance) and is able to spoil the priestly garments (protective garments) and the righteous garments he wears. By the great grace of God, the soap of the blood that washes us no day, Christian, are you not sinners even on your back? Since we sinners are far away from God, we live in sin. We like “sin” by nature. Even our language reveals that we are papists (lovers of sin) and sinners (sin is our soul and sinners (born in sin). That is why we read in Romans 3:11, “There is none righteous, none that understandeth, none that seeketh after God.” So our inner self clearly tells us that we are sinners from any point of view.
But many of us are self-righteous and think that we are righteous and that our path leads to eternity. Such people think that the right path is the path of God and deeply believe that they do not need any other path. If the way of man is the way of eternal life – why does Isaiah say “I am the way”. Not your way – “My way” is He saying! Therefore, in the days when there are people who have the level to teach others but do not have the power to practice it, Isaiah informs that you have the law, but you do not have the power to practice it. That’s why he said, “O inhabitants of the earth, look to me and seek protection.” Surely we are all sinners, there is only one way of salvation. There is no other way. Jesus is the way, the truth, the life. May God bless you in such a way that our prayer is that His righteousness should be the basis of protection for you instead of your righteousness .
