How to hear the voice of God? How to hear God’s voice?
Every child of God should have an intense desire to hear God’s voice. They can enjoy hearing God’s voice so much. Because only God’s voice has the power to fill their hearts completely. That voice answers every inner question. Moreover, strength and knowledge will be their own. They stand strong against their adversary with ease. That is why God’s children need His voice. They are worshiping in the name of God what they do not know about the world. So they are perishing in their sins. But those who are God’s children are visited by God to hear His voice. When can we hear God’s voice? How can we hear? The Holy Scriptures show great answers to these questions.
1. God’s Voice to Creation:
Adam was able to hear God’s voice because Adam was made in the image of God in God’s likeness and God’s life was in Adam. Because of that, Adam clearly heard God’s voice. Adam was able to hear God’s voice even after he ate the fruit that God forbade him to eat and lost his glory because when we take a coin, it has the same value whether it is in water, milk, sand, or mud. No matter where the value of the coin has changed, the value of us, the children of God, as human beings created by God, has not changed. That is why we can see the unfailing love of the Creator who offered Himself to save fallen man. Because in man. Being in the divine likeness has the attributes of God perfectly. God’s form means that man also has His action. More than that, he has the life of God, that is why God wants and loves man. Because that is His life. In this way God continues to speak to every human being who is a perfect creation. He is always talking to human beings who are God’s creation. This is how it is written about Abraham, the first believer in the Holy Bible. The glorious God told Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia to leave your country and your kindred and go to a land that I will not show you. Then Abraham obeyed God’s voice completely and did as He said. So Abraham and his people were blessed by God. When a person called by God, a person who has fallen into God’s hands is surrendering himself to God and has a mind to obey Him, God will surely speak. God’s voice will be heard by all who obey him. For that in the book of Ezekiel stand well, son of man, with Ezekiel. He said I want to talk to you. If we obey God’s word every time He speaks, we will surely hear His voice.
2. God’s voice for protection:
God loves His people. He adorns the lowly with protection. (Psalm 149:4) The Father who is gracious in saving his people speaks to them and leads them to be saved. He grants protection to those who seek protection. In Old Testament times, God wanted Noah to save his family from destruction. That is why God spoke to Noah. He fully explained the preparation for their salvation. In this way God saved the family He wanted to save through the ark. That is how God spoke to Abraham who wanted to save Lot from Sodom and Gomorrah. God paid a great price to save man in this way. So God speaks for their salvation. As seen in the New Testament, God spoke to Zacchaeus, a sinner who climbed a tree. He saved him and his family. (Luke 19: 1-10) In the same way, to save the Samaritan woman, he went through the Samaritan road and sat down at the well of Sucharan at noon and talked with the Samaritan woman. That is why she and her villagers were saved. After the Lord Jesus Christ resurrected and ascended, he appeared to Saul in the light at Damascus to protect Saul who was persecuting his children. Whenever Paul heard God’s voice he was made a servant of God. In this way the Lord utters His voice to give salvation to mankind. He will continue to protect everyone who obeys that voice. Whenever Paul heard God’s voice he was made a servant of God. In this way the Lord utters His voice to give salvation to mankind. He will continue to protect everyone who obeys that voice. Whenever Paul heard God’s voice he was made a servant of God. In this way the Lord utters His voice to give salvation to mankind. He will continue to protect everyone who obeys that voice.
3. The Voice of God in Formation:
God prepared Peter for His heavenly work. Therefore Jesus often spoke to Peter personally. That is why Peter tells us in his journal about that great experience that we heard the voice from heaven when we were with him on that holy mountain. That’s how Jeremiah heard the voice of God calling him. The word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah. ” Before I formed you in the womb I knew you. Before you came out of the womb, I anointed you and appointed you as a prophet to the nations, and he said, “Oh, Lord God, I am not strong enough to speak. I am a child.” Yahweh spoke to me like this, do not say that you are a boy, you must go to the people and tell the things that I have been commanded” (Jeremiah 1:4-7). That is how Jacob and John said that I will make you fishers of men and set them up for himself. (Matthew 4:19, 20) In this way God spoke to those whom He had appointed for His work. He made them hear His voice and set them up for Himself.
4. The voice of God in pleas:
God speaks to the intercessors. He wants them to plead before him. So he speaks to them very clearly. Looking at the life of Moses, Moses was very loving to his people. That’s why he took revenge by killing Aigputiya, an Israelite. That is why God spoke to Moses in the burning bush. That’s why God is talking to Moses who is fasting and praying day and night in his presence on Mount Sinai. (Exodus 17:4, 5) In the same way, he spoke many things to Daniel, who observed the days when his people came out of captivity and decided to make prayer requests for them. All who are willing to pray earnestly for others can clearly hear the voice of God.
5. The Voice of God for Worship:
(Genesis 22:1-15) God spoke to Abraham when he saw that he was willing to sacrifice and worship his only son, Isaac, whom he loved . David was delighted to hear God’s voice. Because David was a great worshipper. So God spoke to him in many ways. Everyone who has a heart that worships God can clearly hear God’s voice.
6. Voice of God in Righteousness :
God speaks to the righteous and strengthens them. When he saw Mary’s husband Joseph, God spoke to Joseph in creating Jesus, who was given as his child in order to clear the doubt of the righteous Joseph. Thus God spoke to Joseph. Apo|| When we saw in chapter 10, the pious Cornelius heard God’s voice and God himself spoke to Cornelius in prayer that all he had would be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit.
7. God’s Voice to the Servant :
The Lord is the One who strengthens the servants who are doing His work. That is why he spoke to them. (Amos 3:7) tells us. God hears the voice of God to the servant of all things. In the same way, he led Saul in baptism and in the Holy Spirit and spoke to him to make him a strong man for God (Acts 9:13-17). In this way, God is making His voice heard through His servants regarding His works and strengthening. Thus the God of God spoke to mankind in various ways through the prophets in the Old Testament .In these last days he spoke through his Son. Moreover, He likes to talk to humans personally and He is talking to us. So listen to God’s voice and take comfort in His sweet words. Have an ear to hear God’s voice. Then you will be able to rejoice in the voice of the Son of the Bride. God bless you.
