Youth is a very dangerous stage in a man’s life. If a person spends his youth alone, he will suffer the consequences for the rest of his life. God’s Word says that it is not good for a man to bear the yoke in his youth. Many youths today are rebelling like heifers not used to the yoke. (Jeremiah 31:18) At the youth stage, many people do not like to obey elders, take responsibility, and work hard. Not only their lives but also the lives of those who depend on them are broken because they do not want to obey. That is why youth is good to bear the yoke of God. That yoke teaches you how to build your life. It will guide you in the right path when there is difficulty.
Today’s youths are just like when a heifer who was raised from childhood and grew up according to his will, its owner tied a yoke to it and used it to plow the field or pull a cart, the heifer did not want to carry the load. When a person submits his youth to God’s hands and submits, great works are done by him. Since a young man named Georgimüller came under God’s yoke at the age of 18, he was used by God as a father to thousands of orphans and a fisher of souls to save thousands of souls. In the youth phase we are blessed with all kinds of blessings like strength, knowledge and health. But if you use them profligately, they will soon be spent and you will be left in great poverty. A few years ago, seeing the vast water of the Godavari river, which was being wasted in the sea, the cotton lord built a dam on that river. By storing the water which is being wasted by building the dam and supplying that water to many thousands of acres of land, till today both the Godavari districts are flourishing green and giving abundant harvest. Likewise, if you obey Jesus Christ and bring your life into a standard without wasting the wisdom and strength of your youth for the sake of the world, for sins, you can use the gifts God has given you as a blessing to many thousands of people.
A young man should find himself alone in the presence of God and learn to sit quietly as if to listen to what He has to say. In the Bible, Isaac, who was blessed for hundreds of years, learned to meditate alone in the field. Daniel, who was very dear to God, learned to pray to God in the upper room three days ago. (Daniel 6:10) The young man should put his face in the ashes so that he will have hope. He had to turn his cheek against the one who hit him. He must be filled with reproach (Lamentations 3:29, 30). That is, if a person puts his face in the ashes, he should not move, not think, and be careful; Whatever he moves or thinks about, the ash goes into his nostrils and mouth. A young man should be very careful in this sinful world to protect the purity of his heart. He should turn the cheek to kill himself. Although this is very difficult in the youth phase, a person is depressed in the youth phase, His life will be blessed when he learns to obey. The blessing is not only for him, but because of him, he will be a blessing to many young minds. OurWhen the Lord Jesus lived in this world, all his youth that is about 30 years, he worked as a carpenter under his parents and hid himself and was like us. His service and sacrifice of the cross for three and a half years after that were amazing. ..
So dear brother! Sister! Surrender your youth to God. Be humble under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. By obeying God, not only you but the generations after you will also develop. Because of the obedience of one Abraham, God has been blessing the descendants of Abraham until now. When you surrender your life to God you will see great blessings in your life.
God bless you Amen.
