Attacks to Stop the Flow
Hebrews 4:15-16

Satan was constantly seeking to attack the life of the Son of God with his evil devices. It was his plan and desire, to denounce the life of Christ and the revelation of the divinity of the Son of God in his humanity. We see Jesus, as He was, a perfect man, without a sin nature, and without the product of sins. Viewed from the evil angle of His divinity, His humanity was inhabited by who He was – God – so His humanity’s life was always planned and challenged by Satan. The purpose of hell was always to dethrone His humanity, so that it could not reveal His divinity.
In plain reality, while we are sinners and He is God, we have the same life and, therefore, we are also objects of petty attack. That the life of God within us is always under attack, so that it is not expressed through our humanity.
Satan will constantly try to get people’s humanity, so that they cannot reveal the life that is within them. Satan is fully aware that once life is revealed in the proper order of love, in the commitment of the Word, then it begins to flow like a river, then people begin not to see our humanity, but we are permeated with the manifestation of the life of God’s divinity.
Satan’s plan is to make the Christian lifeless so that the Christian will claim all his desires for Christ and still lack that experiential power and transformative life.
