John 8:44 says about Satan:

“You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father the devil.”

Satan’s influence spread a deep darkness and sin in the world, opposing humanity and holiness .

4. The Influence of Satan and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ: The Defeat of Satan 🏆

Although Satan played a major role in spreading sin and suffering in the world, the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ defeated Satan’s power and influence. Colossians 2:15 states:

“He broke the power of the rulers and authorities in power and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

Jesus Christ, through His sacrifice on the cross, has ended Satan’s power and control over sin . Now we can be free from Satan’s influence by gaining victory in the name of Jesus .
