Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Do you hear the call?
In All Ways
Proverbs 3:6
When I am tempted, I either seize myself and begin to speak the scriptures, or I can believe in God and trust him with all my heart and experience his life by faith. God chooses for me, because God has already chosen to give me grace. God will not provide another testing way of escape. He gave me His life. Will I choose his power and performance? Some struggle and call it life, but God gives Calvary and resurrection, and calls it abundant life. We must obey God in all our ways. We not only plan to take more and take less, but constantly live in the reality of Christian practicality in human response.
Some people make proclamations for God and against the devil, but never experience Christ as their provision. The arrangement is that our will permits His will to be carried out through our weakness, and His mind permits the action of applying His wisdom to our weakness of ability. Then, by knowledge we never take possession of our lives, but by faith obey Him alone in all our ways.
We are called out of self-life and into a life in heaven, which calls us to a life of love on earth, which is like the Holy of Holies. Within that veil we live with Christ as a watchman, and we live without the distraction of sin, punishment, or shame. We live apart from ourselves; We live gloriously lifted up and extended in grace.
