King Priest Wave
Hebrews 8:1
- Allow Jesus Christ to bring you into His ‘King – Priest of Glory’ wave. As the glorious priest, He is seated above. He entered in there for us, redeemed, and now pleads our case. He has the power of inherent life. Being a priest, he shows God to man and man to God. As a man, he becomes familiar with man’s weakness before God. As a priest, he goes before the Father with the atoning blood.
The Father accepts the blood and sustains us without the kingdom and imputation of sin. We don’t need to take care of ourselves. Jesus, our high priest, was not destined to die on earth at Calvary, but Jesus was destined to live for us in heaven. He is the personal God who is all-powerful, providing everything for us to rest in faith.
Aaron and Moses are a shadow of the beginning of Christ’s work on earth. Melchizedek and Joshua are for us the shadows of His heavenly work in the heavenly places. A believer does not need to mess with his own life. But he is responsible for exercising his own free will and responding to the word of Christ ‘the King who sits in glory’ in the body of Christ.
Know Christ as King-Priest, who has entered heaven for you with His own blood. Know Him as He has presented you before the Father. His death takes away sin and His priesthood takes away present sins, and that blood covers them all so that you can be cleansed by the grace of His holiness and the judgment of His essential nature.
