Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion.
Let me go out
Daniel 3:17-18
- How many people think about getting out of the fiery furnace. How few minorities are there, who have a doctrinal integrity to God and do not care to be redeemed or stay in and meet God? How much time do people spend trying to find their way out of the fiery furnace for protection? They always think that they have some best solution, which will benefit them and God, spiritually as well. Christians do not want fiery furnaces. The reason is that they lack what is called faith in the secret of devotion.
If I don’t have a faith that stays true to God anyway, then I don’t have God’s faith. God is able, if not, I will still remain true to my decision of faith. When we truly experience this kind of humility, which rests entirely on our faith in Christ, then we do not care whether it is fiery furnace, prison, or hatred from the community. We stand on the foundation of Calvary and do not rationalize God’s way of taking up our cross for us.
Few are like Gideon’s 300. Many people don’t like fireplaces. Instead, people want heaven to be down here, but not the faith of Christ. They want everything modern and timely, if they want it, buy it while going to church. Too many people lack determination and ideological loyalty and sincerity of faith. They tighten themselves from their own conception of Christianity, so that God cannot take them where they naturally do not want to go, so that they reveal the fourth man in the fiery furnace.
