NOW FOR TODAY’S SUBJECT.
Not only has life changed for the Jewish
residents of Scotland’s capital, but it also has changed for all Jewish people in the EU.
In Britain alone, for example, anti-Semitic incidents (physical assaults, arson, desecration of property, etc.) rose 75 percent between 2002 and 2003. France recorded a sixfold increase.
A 2003 European opinion poll of 7,500 people in 15 EU countries revealed that 60 percent of Europeans consider Israel the greatest threat to world peace, an even bigger threat than Iran, North Korea, and the United States. However, former Soviet dissident and Israeli cabinet minister Natan Sharansky called this so-called political criticism “pure anti-Semitism.” In reality, today’s anti-Semitism combines international politics and traditional anti-Semitism, resulting in a hybrid that could be labeled, “New Millennia Anti-Semitism.” [End of quote]
Mr. Sharansky also said, “Anti-Semitism has become politically correct in Europe.”
The anti-Israel seeds have been planted around the globe and they are bearing their destructive fruit. The world is on its way to a meeting with its creator Jesus Christ, and it won’t be a church service. It will be the day of global reckoning—a day known as the Battle of Armageddon. Armageddon is knocking at the door and yes, the nations are rising up to open the door. Doomsday approaches.
Part 7.NOW FOR TODAY’S SUBJECT.
Isaiah 4:1-6 (KJV) And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach.
In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.
And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:
When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
