Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion.
The soul of man
Proverbs 20:27
The soul of man is the lamp of the Lord. It is very important for man to understand his institution. Man has many, many great difficulties, especially in the prana or psychological world, because he does not even partially understand these wonderful truths. Man is made of body, soul and spirit (1 Thessalonians 5:23). We must understand that if our human spirit is not open to being a lamp to the Lord, no matter what we try to do, desire to do, or intend to do, we are left in the power of our soul in its true power, which it received at creation. So we are left with no capacity for God, with one capacity for ourselves. What kind of trap is this?
Man has a great capacity to think, to imagine, to remember, and to know right from wrong, but no capacity for light by God. What happens when a person gives his ability for himself to the church, a godly servant for the day? Then he will be disappointed in his excellence and despise it, because he has no capacity for it. This is why there are so many denominations, even though God uses them.
Many times people associate themselves for themselves based on their own abilities, so consistently that they come out with an expression of individualistic tendencies. They can explain theology about God, but they cannot live the life of God, which gives true freedom in Christ. The Holy Spirit lights our lamp, so that we can become that true light.
