  • It may not seem like grace, but it is true. If people do not believe, they cannot enter into rest. Many people have difficulties and will not rest until they find their own way to a solution. They imagine that everything is going against them when it is a situation that God has allowed them to spiritualize through faith in him. Reactions will come and they will not rest because of unbelief. Instead of thinking that God has appointed enemies to work in them for the plan, they think that the enemy has power over the plan. God knows the people who are not functioning properly and by His sovereign power He puts them together with the enemy.
    God brings enemies to reveal an unbelieving heart that is not vertically oriented toward grace. What God sends does not reveal who I am. It means that I reveal who I am through what God has sent.
    God will bring out what is inside me. A bad marriage, when made by the choice of two people’s free will, would be ordained of God, and used to reveal the things within the married. If one is full of faith-rest, it will reveal what is going on inside a bad marriage.
    If a person cannot believe that Christ has finished the work, then he has an evil heart of unbelief. Instead of waiting on God to renew their hearts through faith, people want to bring about the situation in the end, tied to their own abilities, and never live for the purpose of omniscience.
