A Breath Against God
2 Samuel 17
- Men and women in place of Absalom who are not filled with the Holy Spirit. They have usurped rights by going beyond the position given to them by God. A man must walk in the position God has placed him in and in the place God has placed him in the body of Christ. Otherwise, people are usurping rights above God’s plan. Satan is deceitful, and wants to put us in a position to participate in the beginning parts of the conspiracy. Without definition and structure to begin with, our hearts can drift away from God. Either we are part of the conspiracy, or we are part of the body of Christ, against which the gates of hell cannot prevail. Either we are potentially part of the conspiracy, or we are experiencing the kingdom and walking in the light and growing to the fullness of our potential in God.
A conspiracy occurs when a person breathes against God. A sign of enmity can grow into an all-out attack on God’s kingdom. A small gasp against divine leadership, while it may not yet have been organized and circulated, is still a mental attitude of the conspirators. Finally, when a person finds himself breathing against God and against the representative leaders appointed by God to accomplish the purpose of Satan’s plan, then Satan has achieved his beginning. Satan will try to stop an actively active ministry from the breath of those who participate in the conspiracy. Be it emotional or otherwise, do not go along with the breath of conspiracy.
