Jayamsih! Welcome to today’s devotion.
Trustworthiness of God’s Mercy
Psalm 108.4
- Mercy must be given before the glory of the Lord is revealed. Righteousness and truth go before us as defenses, while mercy and goodness remain as defenses. Today the body of Christ confronts the people of the world with the truth of mercy and the result is good. The body of Christ has found righteousness in the person of Jesus Christ.
Simply by being chosen as God’s elect, we can receive grace (Romans 11:30-32). For this reason, grace is constantly ministering to us and the light of love revealed in truth as a joyous voice. We are walking in the light of what grace provides in righteousness (Psalm 89:15-16 ).
Grace is the source of all arrangements. That seed remains forever (Jeremiah 33:11). God’s plan for us as members of the body of Christ is to restore health and reveal His abundant peace and true nature (Jeremiah 33:6). God has established us as a bride in the covenant of mercy that God promised to David.
That He will never leave or forsake us means that God will not remove us from what He has established us. A throne of mercy is built (Psalm 85:4). Because the sprinkled blood enables the Father to create a new creation, and that is the bride of Christ.
The nature of God’s mercy is for us to live in victory, to receive grace that is pleasing to us, to love one another, to submit to the authority of God, to be comforted and to be confident in our strength, let us be aware of what we hear and fear the Lord. - Today’s reading passage is Exodus 14-17.
