Order of life
(1 Corinthians 14:40)
- The order of the Father’s administration is very important for life. Anything that disrupts order is not the Father’s plan. Order is not necessarily structure. Structure is a false concept of order, which actually violates the basic teachings of order. Order is found not in organization but in life. Life is subordinate to God’s written order, and he who rebels against life is anarchist and orderly, but still disorderly.
God’s order is the progressive flow of life from His throne. It is above the throne, and from that throne life descends. The oil flows from Aaron’s head with the cloth around his loins, the same way it rains on Mount Hormon. Structure seeks to organize the life below as the life from above. As a writer, it is very good to explain the authority. Just as a writer fills a book with his thoughts, God has the right to fill our lives with himself.
There is no life outside of order, and there is no perfection outside of Christ’s headship. Order can be achieved by letting Him be the author of the blank pages of our personal narratives from the life that comes from God.
The right to life comes in the course of life itself. The first Adam remains only a living soul because he broke the order. The second Adam has the right to give spiritual life, because order was the most important object of his integrity. - Today’s reading passage is Exodus 1–4
