Abandoning the Voice
- John 16:13
The Spirit of God speaks only what He hears, and yet people speak constantly without hearing from God. Instead of listening to what the throne of heaven says is true, they put their knowledge ahead of what is said. People speak in the name of Christianity through their own concepts and what they call truth. They mislead people because they themselves do not live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Here is a group. They may believe in the Holy Spirit, but they wish for a future experience. They are not permeated with the teaching and ministry of the Holy Spirit, who can lead them to an experience of all truth and perfect work. Other people do not pray according to the Holy Spirit, but they pray according to what they think should be. They do not intercede according to the sovereign voice of God. They take these principles that they know about magic, and then they apply it and hope it works. They reject God’s voice and do not allow God’s sovereignty to reveal His plan to them.
God is always changing in the meaning of His revelation. Always look to the personal God, who deals with every situation as He wills. Don’t know anything but only know the omnipresence by knowing Christ. If people live according to the concept, then the devil will visit them all. But those who listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit and obey it cannot be known from the devil. (John 3:8)
