Acting on knowledge or being encouraged by life.
Romans 13:14
-
Instead of letting God clothe themselves, people try to clothe themselves with what they think they should wear in the situation. A person needs love, so that he acts on love. A check comes and he wants peace so that he can act peacefully. When patience is needed, he acts on the “Pran of Patience”. These kinds of lives are made up of what people want for God. Instead of allowing God’s life to prompt Him into action, they act according to what they think is necessary. God may see needs differently than we do. When God does not meet our needs, we take steps based on our own assessment of the situation. We feel that it should be provided by our own means. God always fulfills our needs in His own time. He can see the needs but allow us to experience faith before fulfilling them. Many people play a role and the situation demands it. However, circumstances wear out our natural grace towards others. Empty actions produce discord. When God asks for something to be done, He always provides the power for it and that action results in unity. When you live by knowledge, you come to know that you need to forgive, but despite this knowledge, you lack the living power to reproduce the patience of grace. To respond to knowledge about God, do not act on Adam.
