Speculation of personal life
- John 13:34
Thousands of people are living in an impersonal world. They are living in shadows and theories. They may go to church, but because of their standards, they stay away from being personal with God. They recognize God as a standard or captain with rules and are disciplined to follow them. They hear things that need to be lived, and they never have that person’s life to fulfill the proposition.
Christ is the end of the law, therefore there is no law that we must obey. We are kept in love by our response of faith. It is Jesus who loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). He is the one who first loved us.
Standards and rules do not promote personal love among church members. Instead of unconditional love, they exhibit their own standards towards each other. They cannot be personal with each other because there is no humility of trust. They cannot recognize each other in the heart, or speculate about their personalities in the reality of light. They are forced to be impersonal toward God, and in doing so are deprived of speculating with each other about the person of Christ. They are immersed in a selfish environment, which cannot even touch the element of humble reality.
To the woman at the well, Jesus was personally the well of eternal life. Jesus touched the blind man with a personal love that brought him out of the blind impersonal world. God’s plan is to bring people out of the impersonal dimensions and place them in the personal attributes of His mind.
