Unconditional Conqueror
Romans 13:14
- What happens to many believers who come to know Christ and know that He has paid all? They allow unconditional love, but they don’t spoil it or bring anything else into their lives through it. This means, they do not accustom love to reproduction. Circumstances reveal not the knowledge of their love but the barrenness of their expression. They say that they know how it should be, but they cannot accomplish it. They have never learned to accept Christ unconditionally in a situation. Many may win unconditionally through knowledge and thus declare some form of victory. Their declared state of success, when in reality it is only the result of circumstances, gives them a quiet place where they can only declare some kind of stance. If we cannot win Christ in every situation, our love is domestic and not experiential. We may be saved by Christ but we have not conquered him.
God wants us to use the ministry of grace for the provision of our body, while the body has been crucified through the teaching of the ministry. It is by grace that we can live by every word of God. Whereas if we do not experience the Lord Jesus in grace and from grace to grace, we are managing to live without experiencing grace. The grace to live in the power of Christ is given to us as an unearned grace. If we have the truth, it is not enough and we must have the power of the truth to allow Christ’s ability to be more than a conqueror for us in every situation.
