✝️ Salvation by Grace – God’s Wonderful Gift

🔷 Introduction: Does grace alone really save?

People often think:

• Can I achieve salvation by doing good deeds?
• Is it enough to go to church, pray, and know the scriptures?
• Am I worthy of God’s love?

📖 Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God; not by works, so that no one can boast.”

1️⃣ What is grace?

🔹 “Grace” means a wonderful gift given to the undeserving . 🔹 We have received
undeserved love, forgiveness, and salvation through Jesus Christ. 🔹 People’s thinking: “My good works will get me to heaven.” 🔹 Bible truth: “Only by grace can people be saved.”
📖 Romans 3:23-24 – “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, but are justified freely by grace through Jesus Christ.”

👉 Salvation is not a trade, it is a gift!

2️⃣ Why can’t good works bring salvation?

🔴 Many people think that good works, religious practices, or sacrifices can get them to heaven.
⚠️ But if our Bible study, prayer, or giving brought salvation, why did Jesus die on the cross?

📖 Titus 3:5 – “He saved us, not by our righteous deeds, but by his own mercy.”

✝️ If salvation were possible through good works, Jesus’ death on the cross would be unnecessary.

👉 Salvation is possible only through the sacrifice of Jesus, not through our works.

3️⃣ How does grace work?

📖 Romans 5:8 – “But while we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us.”

🔹 We were sinners, but God sent Jesus for us .
🔹 He took the punishment for our sins upon Himself.
🔹 Now we must receive grace through faith.

👉 Grace means: Jesus frees you by paying a debt you cannot repay.

4️⃣ How to receive salvation by grace?

📖 Acts 16:31 – “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

✅ 1. Admit that you are a sinner.
✅ 2. Believe that Jesus died on the cross for you.
✅ 3. Accept Him as your personal Savior.
✅ 4. Start a new life.

👉 You don’t have to be a theologian or religious to receive grace—just accept Jesus!

5️⃣ The life-changing power of grace

📖 2 Corinthians 5:17 – “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

✅ Grace changes us completely.
✅ Our sins are erased, and we enter into a new life.
✅ Now we live with hope, not fear!

👉 Only grace gives us true salvation.
