At one time, Jesus was grieving over the gruesome death of his cousin, John the Baptist. He tried to get some time alone, but a huge crowd of people followed Him and He had compassion on them. The Bible tells us He healed the sick people in the crowd.

We see from this that Jesus sees us. He cares about us. And He has the power to change our lives. Not even His own deep grief stopped His heart from aching for the needs of the people.
