Welcome to today’s devotion.
You are not for hoarding
- Isaiah 9:7
God always wants to make you His own. He is not in the market to exchange you for any goods with anyone other than him. You never send him on an Egyptian campaign as payment for a debt. God will not allow someone else to fence that part of your life. why
God does not want His power in your life to be empty, meaning that it experiences time when it declines. You don’t let situations affect you in a way that makes you feel vulnerable. There is no wrong, if a humble heart is your resource, to be safe against the enemy in your own strength.
In Psalm 44:8, David spent his entire day boasting in God. The plan is also to see that God wants to make you proud too, if you will take the power He offers. Job was used by God as an example of Satan. Satan spends time accusing God when we live in blatant opposition to the plain truths of God’s Word.
There is no fixed time period for Adam’s ascension into your own. People seem to think that it takes a certain period of time or testing to get rid of their Adamic nature. It takes less than a fraction of a second to think yourself dead, when your heart stops practicing faith. Be consciously zealous in demonstrating faith. Being established in faith keeps him free in Christ. You will no longer rise or fall according to the pressures of the situation. Adam was reduced so that the peace of God would always be in the process of increasing.
