Jayamsih!!! Welcome to today’s devotion.
In the Isaiah 50:10 Test of
- Abiding in God , you may be knowingly left without light. There, you become a negative, to evolve into a picture of light for that situation. Not for its benefit, but for God’s glory. Circumstances are not used to prove God’s ability, but to produce God’s power to glorify God in them. In this great room of darkness, God will not even allow you to associate your way out. There will be no peace with you in this. There is no feeling, no security, no evidence that God is here. Its purpose? That your heart may still be fixed on God. You are not there to test God, but you trust him without proof. You don’t need answered prayers, because you believe in God, when prayers seem unanswered. You don’t need God to bless you to experience His blessings. You experience His blessings, on the basis of not being blessed, because you are satisfied by Him alone. Not in anything else he does. You are ready for the fiery furnace, for prison at midnight, for denial, because your mind is fixed. You don’t feel loved, yet, you don’t get distracted. God is not revealing anything, and there is no answer. You are governed by the life you have experienced, but you are governed by the measure of God’s life, which you have never experienced. If you are being used as a man or woman of God, either you have been there, or you are going there, or you are there now, walking in darkness without light. Today’s reading passage: Romans 1-4
