Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion.
Genesis 3:14, Romans 8:2
Adam is the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This tree is the first cause to produce the effects of what it is. Adam’s nature now knows what is good and what is bad without the life of God. For Adam, God was not important. He thinks that only with knowledge alone can he live well. Therefore, Adam became the second cause of many effects. He has become the second cause: thousands of misconceptions, lies, and ideas that cannot hold water when tested by God’s eternal providence.
Ananta bursts these skins. Let’s think about the places where people walk, and learn to walk gently. Why do we become the influence of a lie and continue to live under the influence of a lie? Order builds our lives within the confines of natural events. We have always been trained to work for profit, to reap what we have sown, to think that knowledge will give us great benefit, and to think in terms of our nature and personality and what we will become.
We easily accept, and believe, the truth of cause and effect, and easily fail at their mercy. Eternally we find ourselves under the influence of the second cause, which exerts, and keeps us in law with, the first cause.
Jesus has completely eliminated the second cause, and has placed us in a place where we will never be affected by the first cause. We are now in God’s care. Through Him, we have all power, submitted to His sole headship. We are more than winners in every field.
