Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Retain what you hear Philippians 2:16
Don’t try to be what you think you want to be, but God’s Word knows that you are. A person who has a life that is emotionally based on self-will will find it very difficult to remain stable. These feelings have no security or steadying force, but are tossed about by the principalities and rulers of the sky.
Presentations of Satan’s temptations often come through human contact with those who are captive to Satan’s will and are used as ingredients of unrighteousness in the war against truth. Far from dominating natural humanity, we look at the supernatural victory over Satan. When we face challenges, we do not defend our rights of flesh and blood. Let’s make aggressive communication of our truth, an open program for all that includes God’s victory. Our victory is an inheritance, given to us by blood purchase.
God does not want us to stand on the defensive, but to rest under His shadow (Song of Songs 2:3), receiving His life which will be encroached upon with the truth expressed. Under the umbrella of God, we begin to experience the fruit of our verse, the blessing is commanded forever, (Psalm 133:3). We no longer experience the circumstances or calamities that may accompany it, but we experience the beginning of God’s love. It is now a great joy to be challenged by the word, because we find the fruit of every word from God to be sweet to our taste.
