The Holy Spirit gives wisdom
1 Samuel 16:7; Job 32:7-8
- People should not lose sight of the Lord’s anointed form. Love does not respect people’s bodies but respects life’s opportunities to express Christ. In Job 32:4-22, Elihu, the man of God, failed to see that age is an important factor in judging one’s worthiness to give words of counsel. Instead, “In a man there is a spirit; And the inspiration of the Almighty gave it to him.
God deliberately appointed a young boy, Josiah, to be the king of Israel, and he was a man of God who walked in the ways of the Lord. There is wonderful revelation for us about the way of life through the Holy Spirit. God chooses whom He wills; A clay pot is not always a question, but a treasure is always. God speaks through the mouths of infants and sucklings and appoints power that silences enemies and avengers. Was it intentional that Joseph, until Benjamin was born, was the youngest of his siblings? It was also known that Dawood was the youngest of his brothers, who had gone through the wilderness more than anyone else? Was it the elders and elders who first left Egypt and experienced 40 years of trials? No, they never tasted the wonder of the land of Canaan. The Holy Spirit was ordained for a new generation, the youngest, babies and those who suck milk, would receive the blessing!
Is it amazing that Jesus said until we become like little children we will in no way enter the kingdom? The fruitfulness of our mature state (Psalm 92:14) depends on our availability to the heart of the Holy Spirit.
