Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
Mine not yours
Isaiah 55:8
- What do the thoughts of a man do to a man, and they place a person in the comparative picture of humanity. They keep him in the traditional structure of struggle. They put people at the bottom of the pit, put them as tails instead of heads. They take a man, and if he does not think to obey God’s thoughts, they make him unable to learn because of his shame. Human thoughts bring fear and stress and confusion in conscience. They punish him in a trial because they never know God’s appointments in the circumstances. As a form of responsibility for that situation, they show it towards themselves or others.
Do not spend time with your thoughts, but use your passions and faculties in God. Our faculties must be united in their own expression of their parts and experiences. They should be the factors that reveal the truth about what they are. Human thoughts have come in and infiltrated humanity. They have given the purpose of God and the meaning of life. Our society is paralyzed by that, that which brings excitement and makes something in us, which is not the thoughts of God. At our best we try, when we get salvation, to determine whether it is from God or from man. However, many people do not live according to God’s Word.
Instead, they enter into mental evaluations, reasoning, and appearances to determine what God’s mind must be, but they do this without God’s thinking.
