Let there be no wind between
Job 41:16-17
- The cross will never agree with my will. The whole principle for the cross is that we don’t make our own way. In our will, if we stop fighting the cross, then our lives will be united together as the body of Christ – united so that we are not puffed up. There is not even an air among us, because the cross has removed that atmosphere full of evil spirits that work in their own way among God’s people.
The disciples were sitting in fear in the upper room, (John 20:19. Jesus is coming through the wall. There was not even the wind to stop him through it. He had already passed through the cross, died and was buried. He came into that fearful situation and said, “Peace.” Because we are familiar with God, the resurrection always breaks through the physical wall. Jesus knows that they are afraid of every situation If there is an offer for love, the wall cannot be destroyed, but it did not stop the love from coming in. The will of man could not do anything to that wall, but the will of God did He came uninvited because it was God’s will.
Saul of Tarsus did not say, “Save me.” Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
