3. The Holy Spirit: Our Protection and Guidance

The Holy Spirit dwells in the lives of all believers who believe in Christ (John 14:17; Romans 8:9). This Spirit is not only the evidence of the forgiveness of our sins and our new birth, but it is also the strongest protection in our lives. The Holy Spirit accompanies us every step of our lives and encourages us to walk in God’s will. This Spirit works to keep us steadfast in our relationship with God, and to protect us from mistakes and imperfections.

4. Unchanging eternal life
