Forgiveness of Sin, Salvation, and Eternal Life We are all born once, long to live forever, and wish never to face death. However, the truth is that one day, we must all face death. Death is humanity’s greatest fear. No one can prevent it, but don’t worry, there is a hopeful message for you!
1. God’s Love God loves you deeply and has a wonderful plan for your life. The Bible says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16) Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10) In other words, He wants to give you eternal life.
2. Man’s Sin However, the reality is that we all sin. Our hearts think evil thoughts. Lying, stealing, anger, hatred, murder – these are all sins. The Bible says: “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) The consequence of sin is death, which separates us from God forever. (Romans 6:23) We are all born sinners, and we cannot reach heaven on our own.
3. Jesus Christ God sent Jesus Christ into the world to save us from eternal death. Jesus died in our place so that we could be reconciled to God. The Bible says: “But God demonstrates His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8) But the story doesn’t end there. Jesus did not just die on the cross; He rose from the dead on the third day! The Bible says: “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
4. A Call to Accept Jesus Jesus Christ invites you to receive a new life. What should you do now? You must personally accept Jesus Christ and ask for forgiveness of your sins.
