Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion.
A possible blessing
Romans 6:3-4
Satan is constantly working to complete a plan, while the Lord is always resting without a thought of difficulty in completing a completed plan. Satan knows that it is too late and the time is short for him to act on the rational and worldly mind of the Christian who dwells in the characters of his own self-life. This type of Christian is one who has never attained the freedom of Calvary. He lives completely within himself and never realizes the potential blessings within him. His life never rises above his feelings, his mind never rises above his own thoughts, and his single eye never rises above his own sight. He’s so full of himself that all the discussion he can do is about himself and the problems and obstacles he’s become to himself — living some kind of acceptable Christian life. Rather than being consumed with a share of heaven, he lives below by farming his own. There are two people, one is sick and the other is dead. One is experiencing something that the other is ahead of. One feels bad and finds it difficult, while the other has long ago experienced the consequences of co-crucifixion. Jesus will never take your life even though He crucified it. He won’t take it, but He won’t let you keep it. It is true with him that he thinks you are dead before you experience it. That He may be able to associate with you during that transition period, as you are sick unto death and no longer co-exist with your Adam.
