Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion!
All to all to all
Colossians 3:11
Allow the cross to be your life, without argument, because the light of Christ is in your heart. Do not shape your own plans, but thrive in the light presented by God to the corporate body. Christ wants to be all in all, from all, for all time. In his plan, there may be illness, incompatibility, difficult economic conditions, challenges, which are not common. There is a purpose behind it all, built for our growth, in humility, which allows Christ to be all. Many people put their desires above plans, offering their desires to God, perhaps hoping that God will agree. All are established for one reason: that we may win Christ. At the end of every situation, the questions are not how did I escape or who benefited more? The question is: Have I won Christ? The question is not whether we succeeded, while that is often God’s will. Far more than success, God may want us crucified, and may judge us while we are innocent, so that we may win Christ.
Winning Christ is not about achieving a certain goal. It is to be revived with Jesus Christ every step of the way, so that we can run the race, we keep pace in life by the power of Christ. The end of every human condition is the eternal substance attained in the Lord. In the end, we will lose everything, except what we have gained by replacing our lives.
What is winning? One is the maturity of life revealed by the Word and the Spirit, and magnified in the personal lordship of Christ.
