Jayamsih..! Welcome to today’s devotion.
Are you tinted glasses?
Proverbs 14:14
- A backslider is one who has experientially removed himself from God’s grace. With the other falling through weakness, there are eternal arms under him to protect him in grace (Deuteronomy 33:27), while both fall into sin, the one being filled by his own ways while the other is empty because of weakness and infirmity, together with the spirit of faith. Fullness and new creation await. When someone is in a situation where a statement from God is needed as a promise, he must wait for the revelation of the promise and not just wait for the fulfillment of the things contained in it.
Without life we don’t have to wait. We have an all-sufficient God, whose qualities meet all circumstances. He is sufficient only for the circumstances which complement what His life presents. He is perfect even in more difficult tests. He has the ministry of life, which is capable of manifesting itself eternally. When you are removed from Him and kept within yourself, then you begin to see everything only from what is seen. What you fill yourself with, therefore, presents an opinion towards your truth.
Likewise, if your glasses are tinted blue, you may not see things as they appear to others. Do you get anything by tinting your glasses? Those who have removed themselves from grace do not see faith as a rational path, because they have not been filled with the Spirit. Instead of coloring your life so that you do not see God’s mind clearly, it is better to start blindly and then be touched by the life of the master.
