God’s Pattern of Choice
- Exodus 4:10-12,16
Never judge God’s chosen ones. If you reject those whom God has raised, you are rejecting Christ Himself. (Luke 10:16). Those people are there for you in place of Christ (Exodus 4:16, 2 Corinthians 5:20a). What would really happen to your service with God if you knew that those people were chosen to be in God’s place, who were sent by God? You will experience everything they say as God exercises His authority through His servants.
God chooses those whose hearts only He knows. Moses told him to choose Aaron in his place. But God knew that Aaron was a deal breaker, with no courage to carry out his promises. Moses said that he was slow to speak and that he had angered God. God creates a person in the image of himself in omnipresence. Do not reject God’s appointed way. God is not angry with a person who is not perfect in speaking.
Aaron was a good child, and yet God chose Moses. God knew that Aaron would give him the first chance he would get. Aaron was a follower, when Moses went up the mountain, Aaron joined the people in making idols. Aaron did not have the power to lead, but grace called and used both Moses and Aaron.
Every time the testimonies of Christ’s life are given, a person’s heart is softened in love or hardened in rebellion. Grow up with God according to God’s life. See yourself in the message and don’t separate yourself from the life that this message will pierce.
